Proyecto Ecosocial, Vivienda Wayuu
Esta propuesta está planteada bajo los parámetros al concurso CONVIVE VI, en Uribia, Guajira, Colombia.
El diseño se logra a partir a las costumbres y creencias de la comunidad Wayuu, implementando los materiales de la región además de técnicas constructivas de la comunidad, conservando así la herencia colectiva de patrimonio cultural.
Este planteamiento considera un eje principal que es el árbol de Trupillo, característico del lugar, vinculando el espacio de la enramada con actividades de cocina y comercio.
This proposal participated in CONVIVE VI contest, in Uribia, Guajira, Colombia.
The design is achieved from the customs and beliefs of the Wayuu community, implementing the materials of the region in addition to community building techniques, preserving the collective and cultural heritage.
This approach considers a major axis which is the tree of Trupillo, characteristic of the place, linking space bower with cooking and trading activities.
Vivienda de Emergencia, Renacer de las Cenizas
Esta vivienda participa en el concurso, Architecture for Disaster Reduction and Reconstruction, 6th i-Rec student competition, donde se escoge la comunidad de San Juan de Pasto, Colombia, como caso de estudio a desarrollar.
El asentamiento que se ubica en las faldas del Volcán Galeras, así mismo es una comunidad con una vasta historia cultural lo que genera un arraigo profundo hacia su contexto, haciendo más difícil considerar la posible reubicación.
La propuesta consta de una vivienda diseñada por módulos que va desde 2 hasta 6 personas, se construye por la misma comunidad con los materiales de la región al momento de un post-desastre, y se brinda de igual forma un espacio que les permita continuar con sus actividades comerciales y económicas.
This housing participated in the contest, Architecture for Disaster Reduction and Reconstruction, 6th i-Rec student competition, where the community of San Juan de Pasto, Colombia is chosen as the case of study to develop.
The settlement is located on the slopes of the Galeras volcano, so it is a community with a vast cultural history which creates deep roots into context, making it difficult to consider the possible relocation.
The proposal consists of a house designed by modules ranging from two to six people, is built by the community with the materials of the region at the time of a post-disaster, and provides equally a space that allows them to continue commercial and economic activities.
